Steril Verona has six sterilisation autoclaves in SS, for a total sterilisation capacity of 200 m3/day.

Steril Verona utilises only large size autoclaves, thus ensuring the sterilisation of entire pallets, as shipped by Client. This procedure prevents unnecessary handling of the load, products damage and possible mistakes due to mix-ups of products with different code or batch number.

The pre-treatment and conditioning stage takes place in two large pre-heating rooms (600 m3 each), where the load on pallets is heated before entering in the sterilisation chamber.

Steril Verona uses a proprietary sterilisation cycle, under vacuum, which ensures lowest residual gas in the product after sterilisation.

This cycle allows to introduce less ethylene oxide in the chamber with the advantage of less gas absorption and less residual gas during and after the sterilisation cycle.

With lower gas absorption, the residual gas reaches in short time the limit set by current Pharmacopoeia, without degassing phase.

Steril Verona can provide also degassing phase, should the Customer require it.

Steril Verona off-gas treatment unit guarantees gas emissions far below law requirements, so that environmental impact of the sterilisation process is negligible.
